According to Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, the reason behind the inability of the ministry to conclude recruitment into the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) as well as the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), saying the COVID-19 pandemic interrupted the exercise recently.
As stated by the Minister, we have concluded plans with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to conduct a Computer Based Test for candidates who have been shortlisted.
The new development was announced by the Federal Government of Nigeria, As Government planning to recruit about one million Nigerian youths before 2021 into Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
