McNair Scholars Program 2024/2025 at MSU

We are announcing the beginning of our annual recruitment efforts for the next cohort of McNair Scholars at MSU. As such, please encourage eligible and promising students to apply to the McNair Scholars Program.

This undergraduate program is nationally recognized and very successful as an in-depth graduate school preparatory program for undergraduate students.

The McNair Scholars Program is funded by the Department of Education to serve the needs of undergraduate students from ALL majors who are either first-generation/low income or ethnic/racial minorities traditionally underrepresented in graduate school. The ultimate goal of this program is to increase the number of McNair students receiving doctoral degrees and entering the professoriate.
