Npower Transition to Government Entrepreneurship Scheme for Batch A and B Beneficiaries. It is no longer news that Minister, Sadiya Umar Farouq has announced that Batch A will exit June 30, 2020, and Batch B will exit the programme on July 31, 2020 respectively.
Honorable Minister, Sadiya Umar Farouq, stated that, we have started the transitioning of beneficiaries from Batches A and B into government entrepreneurship schemes and engaging private sector bodies to absorb some of the beneficiaries after the completion of psychometric assessment to determine competency and placement into various opportunities.
The Npower Psychometric Assessment Test as apart of the transition process before eligible volunteers will be absorbed into government entrepreneurship schemes and engaging private sector bodies to absorb some of the beneficiaries.
Like we said earlier, as part of efforts to diversify the nation’s economy, we will be opening opportunities in the #services and #real sectors of the economy where many of volunteers will be redeployed. Some key sectors for redeployment include;
- Agriculture & Agro processing
- Transport and Logistics
- Retail (e-commerce)
- Real Estate
- Hospitality
- Information & Communication Technology (ICT)
- Creative industry
- Finance (agency banking) etc.
These and many more will be done in collaboration with the private sector and respective government agencies. However, many of beneficiaries will require special training and assessment to make the shift into some sectors.
NPower on its twitter handle stated that there will be a transition process and the process will be communicated to each beneficiary directly.
