Federal Government N-power Social Investment Programme
The Federal Government has set a target of training 10 million graduates in Nigeria under the N-Power programme by 2023, even as it has extended payment of stipends of the scheme’s 2016 Batch 1 beneficiaries. We have set a target of skilling 10 million Nigerians by 2023.
The N-Power Volunteer Corps is the post-tertiary engagement initiative for Nigerians between 18 and 35. It is a paid volunteering programme of 2-year duration. The graduates will undertake their primary tasks in identified public services within their proximate com- munities.
All N-Power Volunteers are entitled to computing de- vices that will contain information necessary for their specific engagement, as well as information for their continuous training and development.
Npower Impact Series Competition
The NPower Impact Series Competition is a reward package for outstanding NPower volunteers to invest in a business project. The competition was classified as Social Media Competition for beneficiaries to share the impact NPower has had on them as individuals and on their respective communities by posting a 1 minute impact story video on Facebook Twitter. Instagram and YouTube with accompanying caption.
Who is eligible to apply
NPower Impact Series Competition is open to all beneficiaries of the scheme.
How to apply for Npower Impact Series Competition and post your video and win
Beneficiaries must adhere to the following instructions, The content of the 1 minute video and the accompanying caption must follow the laid down rules Start with the:
- Participants’s full name
- Local Government Area
- State of Residence
- Place of Primary Assignment and the N-Power category where the beneficiary is serving
- Contestants must use the hashtags #ThislsNPowor and #MylmpactThroughNPower while sharing their impact story
- An independent body will conduct an assessment and select three (3) beneficiaries with the most Likes, retweets and Shares from each state in the federation.
Benefits
Successful Shortlisted Candidates for First Runner Up and Second Runner Up from each state will receive attractive cash prizes to help the outstanding beneficiaries invest in beneficiaries.
Beneficiary each from the 36 states and the FCT will win One Million Naira as First prizes while 1st and 2nd runner up in each state will win 250,000 and 100,000 Naira respectively.
