Nigerian Communications Commission’s (NCC) has directed all telecommunications to make use of the new approved New USSD Codes for all its service.
This post contains MTN New USSD Codes for Recharge Card, Data, Plans, Shares and other Services as given by Nigerian Communications Commission’s (NCC).
MTN USSD Code to check airtime account balance & other commands has been changed by MTN Nigeria. Those initial codes are not functioning. You have been directed to use MTN Nigeria New USSD Codes to operate its services.
MTN USSD – *556#, is no longer responding as usual, this article will provide a suitable codes for it.
This new development started from May 18, 2023, now, to check your credit or recharge your line is to use the new NCC approved unified USSD codes for all mobile networks.

- Dial *312# for Data Plans
- Dial *311# for Airtime Recharge
- Dial *303# to borrow airtime.
- Dial *310# to check account
- Dial *323# for data balance
- Dial *321# to share data
- Dial *305# for VAS.
