Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Special Skills Intervention Programmes Graduates over 5,300 Nigerians. We are delighted to inform you that The Industrial Training Fund ITF is set to graduate and present start-up packs to over 5,300 Nigerians under its 2023 special skills intervention programmes.
The graduation ceremonies will take place between 13th November and 24th November, 2023 across the 36 states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
State Governors will be special guests at the events in their respective States while the Minister of the FCT, Dr. Nyesom Wike and the Minister of the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment (FMITI), Dr. Doris Anite Uzoaka will be the special guest and distinguished guest respectively at the National closing ceremony in Abuja.
The programmes that have been implemented under the 2023 skills intervention programmes include
- The National Industrial Skills Development Programme (NISDP)
- the Women Skills Empowerment Programme (WOSEP)
- Construction Skills Empowerment programme (CONSEP)
- Agripreneurship Skills Empowerment Programme (AgSEP)
- The Skills Training and Empowerment Programme for the Physically Challenged (STEPP-C)
Implementation of the programmes which commenced in June, 2023, lasted for a period of three months and equipped trainees with cutting-edge skills in several trades namely: Solar Power Installation, Hair Dressing and Beauty Care, Tailoring and Fashion Design, Plumbing and Pipefitting, Ladies Wig Cap Making, Leather Works (Shoe and Bag Making), Painting and Plaster of Paris and integrated Farming.
