Requirements for Senior National Consultant (Programme Management)

  • Certified Master Trainer in Programme Management for Development Professionals (or its equivalent).
  • At least 8 years post graduate degree experience in Project/Programme Management in the Health Sector, with at least 5 years as a trainer.
  • Skills and experience in team management, supervision, and conflict resolution –
  • Availability at the training venue for the entire period of the training programme.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging with top and middle level management staff of government and agencies
  • Proficiency in use of Computer software including MS Office-Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Location: Niger
Duration: 36 days (Spread Over 3months).

Requirements for Senior National Consultant (Leadership Planning, Training and Mentoring)

  • A Postgraduate Degree in Public Health, Management, Statistics, or Social Sciences.
  • At least seven (7) years experience in application of planning including development of logic model for intervention in the heath sector.
  • Experience with development of leadership mentoring plan and assessment of performance according to plan.
  • Conversance and demonstrable ability to interact with team of health experts to achieve desired results.
  • Facilitation skills and a team player with respect for timelines
  • Ability to summarise and graphically illustrate finding of assessment/ intervention for different audiences.
  • Report writing skills, with proficiency in the use of MS office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Job Title: Lead Regional / Senior National Consultant (Public Health Leadership and Institutional Capacity Strengthening)

Location: Niger
Duration: 36 days (spread over 3months).

Requirements for Senior National Consultant

  • A Postgraduate Degree in Public Health, Management, or Social Sciences.
  • At least ten (10) years’ experience in application of capacity building approaches for effective leadership; additional leadership training qualification will be an advantage.
  • Demonstrable experience in design, and institutionalisation of effective leadership structure and functions within government health system.
  • Demonstrable ability to interact at management and policy level in the health sector to achieve desired results.
  • Demonstrable ability and experience to lead and manage team of health experts, for efficient performance of assigned task tasks.
  • Leadership attributes, facilitation skills, and a team player with respect for timelines.
  • Report writing skills, with proficiency in the use of MS office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Job Title: SMC Finance Support Staff

Locations: Jigawa, Kano, Niger, Kaduna, Plateau, Sokoto, Kebbi, Bauchi, Kogi and Nasarawa
Duration: June to Dec 2021.

Requirements for SMC Finance Support Staff

  • A graduate preferably with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or any social science course
  • Computer literate preferably at intermediate level – use of Excel and Word
  • Excellent numeracy, written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to details and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently in an organized manner but within an integrated team.
