The research was carried out by the National Biodefense Analysis and Countermeasures Center in the United States of America.

Results of the research were presented to reporters at the White House last night by William Bryan, a science and technology advisor attached to the Department of Homeland Security.

Bryson revealed that increased temperature and humidity were also detrimental to the virus.
“Our most striking observation to date is the powerful effect that solar light appears to have on killing the virus, both surfaces and in the air,”
According to Bryson, a similar effect with both temperature and humidity as well, where increasing the temperature and humidity or both are generally less favourable to the virus.
“Suppose we hit the body with a tremendous ultraviolet or just very powerful light,” Trump said, following Bryan’s presentation.
Researchers could also bring “the light inside the body,” Trump said, “either through the skin or in some other way.”
“I think that hasn’t been checked but you’re going to test it,” he added.
