Revised ATM Daily Withdrawal Limit – Customers can perform cash withdrawals of up to N200,000 per day. Zenith Bank notified Customers on Daily ATM withdrawal limit in Nigeria.
Zenith Bank on Wednesday revised its cash withdrawal limit to N200,000 per day at its Automated Teller Machine (ATM) across 36 states including FCT Abuja.
Meanwhile, The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) had last year pegged the maximum cash withdrawal per week via ATM shall be N100,000 subject to a maximum of N20,000 per day, adding that only denominations of N200 and below shall be loaded into the ATMs. The new policy has brought pain to Nigerians who are unable to access the new notes amid a biting scarcity.
Now with your ATM, You can perform cash withdrawals of up to N200,000 per day, at the Zenith Bank ATMs nationwide, even if you bank with other financial institutions,” the bank said in a notice to its customers titled ‘Important Public Notice’.
However, There are insinuations that other banks in the country may follow this path, by allowing their customers to withdraw, through ATM terminals, large amounts in the region of N200,000, even though they have not made it public.
The bank said the N500,000 weekly cashless policy withdrawal limit for individuals still applies.
