Voting in Anambra has ended and counting of Election Results has begun. Voters in Anambra State, Nigeria’s South-east, overcame their initial fear and came out to cast their vote in the crucial governorship election.
While elections have been concluded in some Polling Units, many others started very late with INEC announcing the extension of voting till Sunday.
INEC made use of Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) 2021 Anambra State 2021 November Election. BVAS is INEC’s new introduction to help eliminate voter’s impersonation in the Anambra election.
Meanwhile, in some other areas, the voters cast their votes smoothly and the numbers counted.
November 2021 Anambra State governorship election was keenly contested between the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Andy Uba, All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Prof. Charles Soludo and Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Anambra State 2021 November Election Results announced so far has seen APGA Candidate, Prof. Charles Soludo leading with 26082 Votes, Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. With 14984 while All Progressives Congress, APC, and Andy Uba with 14949.
